SCI-FI MAGAZINE

We're in print! Sci-fi Magazine to be exact. Make sure to pick up this month's issue (labeled April, which I'll never understand) which features a small article on our black-and-white adventure. It even has a few pics and reveals a bit of plot which hasn't previously been released.

You can find Sci-fi Magazine at Borders and Barnes and Noble. And a special thanks to writer Jeff Berkwits for helping to draw attention to our series.

SCI-FI BLOCK AND CELTX

Two great sites posted some great coverage of The Mercury Men today. First up, The Sci-fi Block, which I did a lengthy interview for (5 pages!). Lots of info about the series in there. And lastly, Celtx, the software company I mentioned in our storyboard production journal, did a quick write-up of the video on their blog. If you're an indie filmmaker and don't already know about Celtx, you should give their site a visit.

TUBEFILTER ARTICLE AND TRAILER

There's a great article by Jacob Nahin about The Mercury Men over on Tubefilter, which features a NEW exclusive extended trailer. Go check it out!

Here's a short snippet of the article:
"Preksta gave us a private viewing of the first episode, and while it would be premature to give a full-blown review, I can say that what I have seen blows my mind. The production quality, the acting, the music, the directing, everything presented in this first episode should have mainstream studios take notice."
All the guys over at Tubefilter have been incredibly supportive, not only of our shows, but of the web series industry in general. Between their site, the monthly meet-ups, and the Streamy's they've all done a lot to help creators like us. We were thrilled to be able to offer them an exclusive trailer to premiere.

Girls Entertainment Network

The lovely ladies of the Girls Entertainment Network are some of our biggest supporters, and none more so than the talented comic reviewer (and fellow Pennsylvania native) Stephanie Carmichael, who recently posted a preview of The Mercury Men. I suggest checking out their site along with their great superheroine costumes.

The Mercury Men trailer was featured on the film blog Twitch this morning. It's a really great site that covers a lot of film news standard film blogs do not. You can read the article HERE, although the author wasn't too keen on our actors based on the 4 lines they speak in the trailer.

CINEMA SUICIDE

Bryan White was kind enough to highlight the new Mercury Men trailer over on his great site Cinema Suicide. Check out the post HERE, and stick around for his other great articles.
