PULP PROJECTS

Since The Mercury Men trailer has premiered we've been exposed to countless other incredibly cool pulp and sci-fi projects. Here's a few I caught today. If you know of others, share a link in the comments.

IRON SKY
http://www.ironsky.net
"Towards the end of World War II the staff of SS officer Hans Kammler made a significant breakthrough in anti-gravity. From a secret base built in the Antarctic, the first Nazi spaceships were launched in late ‘45 to found the military base Schwarze Sonne (Black Sun) on the dark side of the Moon. This base was to build a powerful invasion fleet and return to take over the Earth once the time was right. Now it’s 2018, the Nazi invasion is on its way and the world is goose-stepping towards its doom."

GHOST ZERO
http://www.ghostzero.com
"Ghost Zero is an amalgam of two people…the body of Eddie Quick and the ghost of Charles Pallentine. Using the mysterious 'Spirit Ring', Eddie can allow Charles to 'possess' him for limited times. During those times, Eddie’s skin turns spectral (transparent) and wisps of ectoplasm 'bleed' from his eyesockets. Typically, when the possession occurs, Charles is the one ‘driving’, in that his conciousness supercedes Eddie’s. Eddie ‘blacks out’ and has no memory of what happens in the Ghost Zero form. Outside of the possessed state, Eddie is pretty much a typical, athletic, american teenager."

PULP SUNDAY: THE ART OF FRANCESCO FRANCAVILLA

Check out Francesco's great pulp art, featuring fantastic characters like Black Beetle, Max Malone, and even Zorro. Incredibly authentic style.
